Following any tests at the surgery, the results come back electronically from the lab and are then reviewed by a Clinician. If these results are normal/stable then we will not routinely contact you. However if your results show a significant abnormality which requires immediate action then we will endeavour to contact you to make an appropriate appointment. But in all cases, we strongly recommend that you phone for your results, so that you are aware of the outcome of the tests and any follow-up required.
Please telephone the Practice after 11am on 01875 320 302. The reception staff will only read the comments made by the Clinician who has reviewed your results; they are not able to give you further advice on the interpretation of your results.
Due to our confidentiality policy we can only give results direct to the patient who has had the tests unless we have written authorisation stating the name of your representative to whom we can give the results. This applies to anyone over the age of 16 too.
