We now have two Specialist Physiotherapists based at Pathhead Medical Centre. They can be booked as an alternative to an appointment with the GP, for people with a muscle, bone or joint problem. There is no need to see the GP first.
Contact reception and they will ask you a few questions to make sure you are allocated an appointment with the most appropriate person.
IT Upgrade -
The practice is due to have an IT upgrade. Our IT systems will be getting transferred to an NHS central server. This is to improve IT security and improve our internet connections.
Well will be only offering urgent appointments on these dates. There will be no bookable appointments. The services we normally offer will be restricted.

Paramedic Specialist Practitioner joining the team
We welcome Specialist Paramedic Practitioner Donald Blackie to the clinical team from October 2017. He will be working alongside the duty doctor to assess patients with acute illness in the surgery and on home visits, and we look forward to benefitting from his extensive experience.
Four working days for a prescription request
The practice has now increased to four working days before you can collect your prescription. As the list size has increased the practice needs to look at some of our systems and processes. Please make sure to order your medication in enough time. If you have something urgent this request will be directed to the duty doctor.
